3. Joe and Demi publicly shaded each other for years
This relationship was unstable and it did not end in 2010, oh no. In 2013, Demi released 2 songs that are rumored to be about Joe Jonas. Really Don’t Care and Without The Love was released May 10, 2013. The reason why Lovatics think that Really Don’t Care is because once they broke up Joe quickly was in another relationship with Ashley Greene. I could not find proof so this is just a rumor. But the song does talk about how his heart was broken and she started to date someone else. The reason I brought this up is because Ashley was quiet about what happened between them two but Joe made a shady tweet that said, “This bed never looked better.” This was aimed towards Ashley and that was mean, but Joe is trying to deal with a breakup, so that means it is most likely that she ended it. Anyways that is why fans thinks Really Don’t Care is about Joe.
As for, Without The Love is more obvious that it is about Joe and without talking too much about why this song is about Joe by showing pictures while given context.

Whenever Joe or Nick needed help to boost their solo careers Demi was often asked to be a part of their concerts so people would tune in.

Now that I think about it Joe has a track record of publicly humiliating his exes.
I doubt that a couple of teenagers forced a young adult to smoke weed, this does not sound like it even did happen. Besides Demi Lovato said in the Simply Complicated Documentary that she did not even do drugs until she was 17. This sounds like she begged him when she was 15 -16.
Joe unnecessarily outed Ashley by publicly saying he lost his virginity to Ashley. Joe must have really liked her and was devastated by the break up, so he just retaliated out of bitterness or is it a pattern?
The entire internet quickly caught on that Joe was speaking to tabloids trying to frame him as this tired husband that wanted to save his marriage. As he is making his wife look like a party girl is an absent wife and neglectful mother. There are rumors that he cheated and given his history I would not be surprised if that is true.
Anyways, I pointed out what Demi and Joe have said about each other publicly and it goes to show that no one is innocent here. They tried to make it work, but it ends with trying to make the other look bad. Wow, this was some deep dive. This was not hard to find, all of this is surprisingly out there and it seemed as if most of this information was forgotten. I really enjoyed creating this article. There were moments in the article where my jaw dropped. As I wrote this I was thrown into a loop. It was so fun going back in time and seeing what happened but in a whole different light that makes sense. I do not quickly bite when celebrities try to hide behind certain stories or reps. I like to see what is beneath the surface.
Demi and Joe are in a great place but they are not as close as people think now because I would remember Demi confirming they do not talk anymore after her overdose in 2018. However they seem to be on good terms now that they recently reunited. After years of shade and falling out they both came to terms about what matters and that they can be at peace with each other without trying to force a friendship.
